The Year in Review continues with some high-tech tributes. In March, local industry leaders gathered to recognize the technical innovations of the Central Florida business community during Orlando Business Journal’ s first Technology IQ Awards.

Representatives from event sponsors SunTrust Bank and Next Horizon were on hand with OBJ staffers as guests networked before the luncheon event, hosted at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport

Awards were given in the following categories:

  • Outstanding innovation by small, medium and large companies
  • Individual innovation in small, medium and large company categories
  • Individual honors for Outstanding CTO/CIO
  • Outstanding company innovation by industry
  • The Publisher’s Award for Outstanding Innovation by a Company
